Please text us on 07540 367386 to let us know when you are 50 minutes away, so we can try to ensure that we are ready for your arrival! Please don’t forget to leave your name in the text too!

Check in is from 4pm – please don’t arrive too early because we are not always on site and we would like to give you a lovely welcome to Lower Keats!

​Check out is by 10 am on your departure day – please do try to depart promptly and leave the lodges in a clean and tidy state.
We ask that you strip all the beds and empty dustbins and recycling into the designated bins in the parking area. We will total up your spend in the honesty shop the evening before and contact you with the total amount payable. Please pay before you leave.

​Local directions

We are just off the A358 between Chard and Axminster and only 20 mins from Lyme Regis (home of the Jurassic Coast) and the A303. 10 minutes drive from Axminster main line station, with direct links to London Waterloo and the South West. The No 30 First Bus (Axminster to Taunton) stops at the top of Broom Lane, Tytherleigh, just a 5 minute downhill stroll from us.

• A Sat Nav will bring you to the centre of Broom Lane, carry on down the lane
• Lower Keats is the last on the left
• We have a flint stone wall and gravel drive
• If you arrive at the level crossing you have gone too far! Turn around and you will see us up the hill on the right

From London/M3

• M3, junction 8 onto the A303, exit the A303 onto the A358 (signposted Chard)
• Straight over traffic lights continuing on the A358 signposted Axminster, after 3.5 miles at the end of the village of Tytherleigh turn left into Broom Lane
• A Sat Nav will bring you to the centre of Broom Lane, carry on down the lane, Lower Keats is the last on the left
• We have a flint stone wall and gravel drive.
• If you arrive at the level crossing you have gone too far! Turn around and you will see us up the hill on the right

From the M5 going south

• Turn off the M5 at Junction 25 onto the A358, staying on the A358 until you come into Chard, then straight over the traffic lights continuing on the A358 signposted Axminster
• After 3.5 miles at the end of the village of Tytherleigh turn left into Broom Lane
• A Sat Nav will bring you to the centre of Broom Lane, carry on down the lane, Lower Keats is the last on the left. We have a flint stone wall and gravel drive. If you arrive at the level crossing you have gone too far! Turn around and you will see us up the hill on the right

From the M5 going north

• Turn Off the M5 at Junction 29 onto the A30 past Exeter airport to Honiton, turning off onto the A35 signposted to Dorchester
• Turn left off the A35 onto the B3261 signposted Axminster, straight over at the roundabout onto the A358
• Continue out of Axminster on the A358 towards Chard
• After 3.5 miles and at the top of Tytherleigh Hill, turn right into the lane signposted to Broom Lane
• If you miss it you will see The Tytherleigh Arms in front of you, (turn around) and then take the left into Broom Lane
• A Sat Nav will bring you to the centre of Broom Lane, carry on down the narrow lane, Lower Keats is the last on the left, you should be able to see the sign
