Our new communal shelter ‘The Hive’ is complete – Wow! what a view – nurture your soul in all this this stunning scenery. This beautiful area is available for groups and parties should the weather not be so kind, for eating, partying, star gazing, exercise boot camps, hen parties, team bonding sessions or even yoga! The undercover shelter gives protection from the elements for whatever you are wanting to do at Lower Keats, with extra seating on the outside decked area too. The latest addition is Gary’s wheelbarrow sink with instant hot water!
We hold our twice weekly pizza feasting nights here (if there is enough interest) using our new wood burning pizza oven. This lovely space has been designed to help encourage guests to get to know each other and the children all make friends too. The Hive has already been used for afternoon tea, flower crown making, mixology and there’s a silent disco planned for next year! There’s no charge to guests staying at Lower Keats for using The Hive area – unless exclusive use is needed (then just get in touch by email to make a reservation).
Ever passionate of our ‘support local pledge’, we have sourced all materials locally with the help of a nearby business Woodscott for this exciting project! Our fire pit seating area also made from our own fallen copse trees.
