Our top finds:
Lyme Regis: picturesque seaside town, lovely beaches and ice creams. A must visit with a beach for dogs to swim and play off lead all year round. Park at Holmbush Car Park DT7 3HX.
Weston Beach: Stunning shingle beach. No amenities but kids and dog had so much fund playing in the small freshwater estuary which flows down to the beach. We parked (free) at Grammar Lane car park EX10 0PH. 30 min walk with stunning views and 124 steps down (Henry counted!) to the beach. Did a small circuit back to car via Donkey Sanctuary.
Golden Cap: easy climb to the top with amazing views of the coast. A must do! We parked at Langdon Hill National Trust Car Park DT6 6EP. Follow the wide gravel track out of the car park and follow the signs for Golden Cap. Takes about 30 mins and kids loved it!
We had a fantastic stay. Kids loved playing with other children. Our 6-year-old does gymnastics and loved the bars and beams to play on. Thank you, Linda & Gary.
We have had such a fun 4 nights here at Lower Keats Glamping! Thank you to Gary and Linda for being amazing hosts. Particular highlight was feeding the animals … I never thought I’d ever hold a chicken or walk a goat on a lead! A perfect first holiday for our 18 week old puppy Nell and our boys had so much fun especially in the hot tub 😊 I’m sure we’ll be back one day.
Thank you so much Gary & Linda. We came as a family of four and our beloved dog Marlo with my mum to celebrate my 40th birthday. My sister and family were allowed to visit for the day and loved experiencing the animal feeding, especially those pesky chickens!! Ha ha!! The location is just perfect for visiting Lyme Regis, Budleigh Salterton for a beautiful estuary walk, Seaton, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove – just stunning. Hoping to visit Golden Cao on our way home. Linda & Gary truly think of everything, Pizza night is brilliant, highly recommend. Cream teas offered and very scrummy 😊 We stayed in Cobb lodge Monday to Friday and Beer Friday to Monday to take advantage of a hot tub. True time out and wind down in a very special location. Thanks again.
Dear Gary and Linda. We had a wonderful time here; we have loved sleeping and here the showers were the best! We also loved the pizzas. The tent felt like home and we hd some of the greatest sleeps here. We cant wait to come back.
Another amazing week at glamping and we could not ask for a better holiday. It was amazing as was roasting marshmallows on the fire. Although I won’t be missing the marshmallow stuck in my hair! – Abby.

Dear Linda & Gary. We’ve had the most amazing stay in Deer! We’ve appreciated all the little details – everything is so well thought out. The children loved helping with the animals, and we’ve all loved the hot tub! Pizzas were yummy and the cream tea divine. Wish I could take the shower room home – was like a spa experience. We will be back!
Linda & Gary, our first glamping experience and we’ve loved every minute. The set is us 5*, comfy beds, super warm (once we go the hang of the fire!) – you have thought of everything. The Chilli packs on our first night were delicious and pizza night was a highlight. Can’t wait to return with our family soon, next time with the hot tub. Thanks for everything.

Another wonderful stay here – thank you! We couldn’t have asked for better weather. The warm hospitality of Linda & Gary was exceptional again. Pizzas were more wonderful, and scones were the best we’ve ever had. Highlights include: Cotley Inn for lunch, beautiful walk to Golden Cap, lunch at River Cottage. The girls had many hours of playing gymnastics on the bars and Hamish the puppy has loved his first trip! Looking forward to another return already. Thank you again.

Our third stay and it was just as fabulous as our last two! This place is just beautiful, and Gary & Linda are wonderful hosts, there is nothing they haven’t thought of. A huge thank you for your amazing hospitality. We did as suggested and ‘packed light’ against our usual judgement) and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything you need is here on the farm (including relaxation!) Every detail has been thought of. Bacon, Sausages and eggs were just what we needed and so much better than at home. As were Linda’s cooked meals and pizza night. Such personal touches that were very much appreciated. The animal feeding is a must as they are so friendly and Gary taught us a thing or two. (Only female ducks quack – who knew). We enjoyed visiting Beer and Lyme Regis during or short stay and the hot tub was just what you needed on your return – Bliss! We hope to see you again. PS Mr Bear now thinks cows are his best friends 😊
This is our 4th time glamping here now back to back, it is like a home from home. We just love it and have booked again for next year already. It is the one week of the year when we can become a family, with no TV or superfast wifi to zone ourselves our on. We have played games, sat in the hot tub (plenty), lots of bbq’s, pub meals and got a little tipsy with our friends in the evenings. Sleep time cant happen without marshmallows on the fork. It is a magical place to stay. Thank you, Linda & Gary, see you next year!
We had the best time @ Lower Keats Glamping! I don’t want to leave. The hot tub has really made it extra special and meant that we could have stayed here all day everyday! Beautiful food and very kind hosts that have thought of every last detail – we’ll be back!
We had the most incredible time here. This has been the best glamping every, thank you for the best glamping pizzas ever. The shed bed was the best part.
3rd year and we’re back! Thank you again for the best time in your little spot of Devon paradise. Weather was a change for us this year but the cosy fire and lovely stove cooked food settled that. Games and family time were the medicine and despite coming on from somewhere before the kids always say this is their favourite part of the holiday. Animal feeding and pizza night are a real highlight, hot tub was a close second I think! We will be sure to see you again and congratulations on your recent award – very well deserved. PS cream teas were delicious as always!!

We absolutely loved our stay here at Lower Keats. The tents are super, very comfortable, clean and everything is well thought of. The hot tubs were fun, a challenge but we loved it and got it right. It was very satisfying. The do take a long time and the key is to stir well. Loved the animal feeding with Gary. The beds are extremely comfortable, the hot water and amazing pressure made our stay unforgettable. We will be back.
A small-scale luxury campsite with a large heart. We’ve had a wonderful stay here @ Stag – the tent was well equipped and so impressed with the hot tub and shower. We loved exploring the area – Lyme Regis, Tytherleigh Arms, and Dorset Nectar Cider Farm, all amazing but most of all we lapped up the wild experience of glamping (a first for us all) and soaked up the exceptional views and carefree off-grid vibe. Thank you to our besties for organising/booking/planning my surprise 50th @Lower Keats – I loved every minute. Special memories with special people in a special place. Thanks to all at LW – we loved it!

All 7 of us (4 adults and 3 boys) enjoyed our time here. We saw the stars and fed the animals. We didn’t expect to have that experience with our hosts Linda & Gary as it was our first-time glamping. We had an amazing time here at Lower Keats. We had everything we needed and coped fine with the lack of electronics! The weather was cold but the sun made an appearance long enough to sit in it! We are on a charity walk across the country (1345 across the UK). We contacted Linda & Gary just looking for a place to pitch our tent, and we got offered one of these beautiful luxury lodges. 10 days into our walk at 24 miles a day, this was just what we needed. They fed us with delicious pizza and did everything to promote our work. Thanks, Linda & Gary, this place is amazing and you couldn’t have found nicer people if you tried.

The facilities are amazing – you’re thought of everything. Warm & cosy and the children absolutely loved every minute of it. Watching them playing with new friends across the field whilst sitting on the veranda was very special.

We had an amazing time at Lower Keats farm while the weather was beautiful. My sister and I spent hours running around the field, flying kites, riding bikes, and making noise. Thank you to Gary who took the time to let us feed the animals and thank you to Linda who made it possible for us to enjoy our stay. We are so sad to leave as we have had such a great time, but we will try to come back another time. Imogen & Charlotte. PS highlights were Lyme Regis and animal feeding.
We had a wonderful, enjoyable stay here at Lower Keats Farm, Stag tent. Everybody was friendly and helpful. The pizzas on our last night were lovely. All the animals are adorable, and the views are amazing. All the local towns are super nice. Overall had an amazing stay in the super cosy tent and would recommend it.
What a superb place to be, so lovely to be at one with nature and be able to switch off from everyday strains of work and electronics. Everything catered for. Recommend the tasty pizza night and animal feeding. Lovely hosts, so friendly, helpful, and clearly put a lot of time into this wonderful Glamping experience. We would happily come back! Highly recommend Lyme Regis and food at the Tytherleigh Arms – absolutely delicious. Loved the cosy comforts, candles, beds, and beanbags. Log burner was a hit especially for chilly evenings and made it cosier. Would recommend and visit again. Thank you for a lovely time.

Myself, husband, 3 grown up children & 2 grandchildren (plus 2 dogs) in two of the fantastic lodges. We had a really lovely stay for my birthday!! My first ‘glamping’ experience, everything you need here, lovely shower! We’ve loved exploring the local area, loved pizza night, loved everything!!
We were floored by how beautifully presented the cabin was on our arrival (and also the warm welcome ?) Whilst we had to leave an evening earlier than we expected we had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back! (Poorly puppy). Everything about our stay has been so relaxing, with everything we needed easily available. We cooked a veggie roast in the wood stove and enjoyed our candle-lit dinners with the wonderful views over the hills and stars at night. Having so many dog friendly places to visit so close: The Donkey Sanctuary, Fern Animal Sanctuary meant we were able to enjoy our time here with our two greyhounds (Khalli & Bo). Thank you also for the dog treats on arrival – they loved the Bonio’s. We loved the shower – it’s got better pressure than our one at home! ? Just generally felt very spoilt and grateful for our time here. Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! We are glamping converts. Every detail has been thought of from the gorgeous toiletries to the hot water bottles. The children loved feeding the animals and making friends with the neighbours. We’ve had excellent food from Swim in Lyme Regis and Sunday lunch at The Cotley Inn. We wish we could stay longer.

Well, this was our first experience of glamping, but it certainly won’t be our last. Our only fear is that we have been spoilt rotten by the wonderful facilities here at Lower Keats Farm. Gary and Linda are brilliant hosts – friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend: Pizza night, Forde Abbey, Branscombe beach, South Devon Railway & Beer beach. Already looking forward to our next visit!
We had a great time once we unplugged from the crazy hectic world and recharged our batteries in the sun – like your fab solar lights! Pizzas a definite hit and ice creams form the shop – so scrummy! Dillon our dog loved romping in the fields, making friends and learning to swim in the sea. Hope to be back one day!
We feel very lucky to have stayed in your exceptionally beautiful campsite Gary and Linda! We enjoyed feeding the animals, playing on the playground ad pizza night. The tent worked really well for us all and Frankie loved having it as her house for the long weekend. Hopefully see you next summer!
This has been awesome! I loved staying here, a lovely venue with a cosy tent and cute animals. Lots of really cool places nearby to walk and drive to. I would like to stay again soon.
Another great stay at Lower Keats, it was as magical as it was the first time around. We discovered Sidmouth for the first time, lovely little town with a good selection of shops and restaurants, well worth a visit. The highlights for us are always the regular trips to Exmouth beach, to walk the dogs. Make sure you get the tide times right though! When the tide is out, you can walk for miles, wonderful. Thanks again to Gary and Linda for providing such am amazing experience. We will be back again.
We have had such a wonderful stay – the lodge far exceeded our expectations as native beach ‘holidayeers’ – holidaying in this country and in a tent (albeit a luxurious one) was faced apprehensively but we have loved it! The lodge is warm, cosy and had everything we needed for a 3night stay. Thank you to Linda & Gary for being so welcoming! We will see you again.

Wow! Where to start? Your friendly welcome began our wonderful stay. We’ve seen some wonderful beaches and experienced Devon and Dorset’s hospitality. We loved Beer, Charmouth, Lyme Regis and Seaton. The weather has been interesting, but we survived 70mph winds and basked in glorious sunshine. The tents were marvellous, packed with everything we needed, and the shower was perfect!! Always hot! The week was topped off with a communal game of cricket with other glampers! Thanks so much.

Our weekend was the best ever! Lower Keats Glamping is amazing, and we really enjoyed it even though the weather was varied. We enjoyed Seaton beach; Linda & Gary are the best hosts ever!
Our family have enjoyed our stay here at Lower Keats. I have enjoyed walking down to the honesty shop and seeing the farm animals you have and roasting marshmallows. We all loved pizza night; it was fab. The view from here is absolutely lovely and it was very cosy in the tents at night.

Thank you so much for such a lovely stay in your beautiful lodges. We have stayed in something similar previously in Norfolk but your set up was so much more special with all the little touches – local toiletries, solar lamps and the most amazing shower!! We are regulars to the area but visited the caves at Beer for the first time, which was really interesting but do take extra layers – it’s 90mins in 6 degrees! We love The Millside restaurant in Lyme, also Swim on the sea front, takeaway scallops, and chips from the kiosk on Lyme beach is just about the best holiday beach lunch ever. The kids loved feeding the animals – such a highlight for them, especially bottle feeding the baby cows! We’ll be back!

Magical doesn’t quite cut it! Incredibly beautiful tents accompanied by equally beautiful views. There’s something quite special about being set up in the country, rain on the tent, fire roaring and playing games as a family! We loved feeding the animals, exploring neighbouring towns, playing games at the front, and relaxing in the evening with Linda and Gary whilst enjoying their yummy pizzas (100% recommend) So much thought has gone into this place, enjoy every moment, it’s truly special. This is really a special place – it does feel quite magical! We’ve been lucky to have some lovely sunny days and enjoyed the local beaches. The adventure began a bit dramatically as a thunderstorm hit just as we had unloaded but it really added to the feeling of adventure for us all. Our little ones (4years and a 9n month old) have loved it, we all enjoyed the animal feeding and the relaxed atmosphere and surroundings. The tents are incredible, and I never want to leave that shower! We can’t wait to book again and hope to bring friends along too! Pizzas were great, shop fab and hosts lovely! Perfect post GCSE/A Level getaway. Lovely tent, comfortable beds and stunning views. Although 16 and 18 years old – children hugely enjoyed feeding the animals. Also enjoyed a trip to The Tunnel Tree Tops and on the Seaton Tramway. Gary and Linda were great hosts and we felt well looked after, thank you. Just what we all needed. Honesty shop was useful and would recommend Aunty Pat’s Marmalade!

I have come here now for 6 YEARS and it is still as fun as the first. Now since the 2nd year our friends have joined us on adventures too. Some of my favourite things to do and I recommend are: Jurassic Coast, Golden Cap, Beer and if a pub – definitely The Anchor Inn in Seatown (not Seaton), it is near the Golden Cap. What a wonderful time we have here at Lower Keats Glamping. After traveling night and day, we arrived at such a beautiful place, and we really enjoyed the beds! The kids really loved the ‘Animal feeding’ and pizza night was the best! The tent really felt like home for a week and for some of us it’s hard to say goodbye. We loved the stove, the bbq, the scones, the fresh bread. We didn’t get the bagels at Lyme Regis, so maybe we will come back someday 😊 We wish you all the best.

This was our first glamping experience, and it definitely will not be our last. We have had an amazing time at Lower Keats. Brody and Harry have a great time feeding the sheep, pigs and chickens. We’re gutted to be going home today! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay .. perfect bedroom layout for the 3 kids and plenty of space for us all. The hot shower was amazing (and love the fact that it is private). The wood stove was kept busy all week and kept us all warm. Pizza night was great, food and company. It was a great opportunity for the all the tents to meet up and the kids have made great friends. Animal feeding was a hit (in spite of the rain!) Such and amazing set up with the shop too. We made the most of the eggs, bread and the steak was the best we have had in ages! Linda and Gary, we appreciate all of the care and attention to detail which has gone into the whole experience here at Lower Keats! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much.

This is our fourth time staying here and definitely not our last. We had the freedom to run around with the dogs without a care in the world. The bars at the bottom of the field were an eureka idea as I learned all kinds of tricks that I wouldn’t have dreamt of otherwise! Staying at Lower Keats has been an amazing experience. Feeding the sheep and brushing the pigs was a favourite. Everything was really well thought through, from local milk and produce in the shop, top games for the kids, and even dryer for wet bikinis. The pizza night was also a great hit! With the owner’s helpfulness and kindness, nothing could go wrong. Overall, it was a truly lovely trip and we hope to return soon. PS the hot tub was great.
We had a wonderful time staying her at Lower Keats. ‘The Stag’ was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and really comfy beds. The hot tub was an added bonus! We had a peaceful 3 night break. Part of the ‘Holloway 26’ who stayed in 5 tents for May half term. Ages ranged from 8 to 78 with 5 x 20 somethings and teenagers. All had a fabulous time. Enjoyed the walk up to Golden Cap from Seatown and the strenuous 7 miles from Lyme Regis to Seaton (though wished we’d started before 2pm)! The paddock for cousins games wea great fun and the last night was spent playing herd mentality in The Hive which suited a family gathering well. Impressed with the tents – bed fabulous and warm and cosy with the stove – very grateful we had gas for cooking (unlike featherdown apparently) Being organised is a must given the fridge/cool box set up!! Well done Linda & Gary.
We had an amazing time at Lower Keats and the weather was beautiful too! The kids loved the animals and playing in the grounds, as well as pizza night. The tent was cosy and beautifully decorated and the hot tub awesome too. It took a while to heat up first time but worth it in the end – definitely recommend. Followed your recommendations and had lunch over at The Old Inn and The Tytherleigh Arms – both incredible. Thanks again for the hospitality! Until next time.
A wonderful stay at Lower Keats – everything was 5 Star (pizza night, animal feeding, welcome and hospitality) – except for Storm Noah which was minus 1 Star as it really challenged our fire building skills! Despite the weather we managed to see an RNLI lifeboat launch in Lyme Regis, saw a seal in Lyme Regis harbour and found a fossil on Charmouth beach. The shower was amazing on the cold mornings – even our ‘watershy’ 10 year old son. Look forward to returning in warmer weather.
A wet but wonderful few days away. A real escape! When the clouds parted we enjoyed exploring the coastline and had a wonderful meal at the Anchor at Seatown – an incredible spot overlooking the beach. This was a very last-minute spontaneous booking, and we had the most wonderful stay at Lower Keats! Even in the rain, we enjoyed every minute. Our kids absolutely loved the cabin bed – what an amazing touch. In fact, there were so many brilliant, thoughtful touches. The kids also had the best time collecting eggs from the chickens and feeding the animals. They learned so much! Linda and Gary were fabulous hosts, and you also make the best pizzas ???? Had an amazing week here in the heatwave. We loved the animal feeding and being on a farm generally. All the food from the honesty shop was wonderful and we enjoyed BBQing. Steaks were outstanding, and the cream tea and pizzas were fab too. We visited lots of beaches (Seaton, Charmouth, Beer, Sidmouth, and Lyme Regis and liked Lyme best followed by Beer. Cream teas were good at Otterton Mill. This is simply a beautiful place with a very relaxing vibe. Altogether an amazing holiday and many thanks to our hosts Linda & Gary.

Another wonderful visit to Lower Keats. We enjoyed pizza on Saturday evening and yummy homemade scones too – thank you! Sunday was spent doing the beautiful walk from Budleigh Salterton to Otterton Mill, where we enjoyed fabulous crab sandwiches, and then back again for ice cream on the beach! Hoping to visit River Cottage before we return home on Monday morning. We bought honey from the honesty shop which was delicious. OMG what can we say, but WOW! From the moment we drove into Lower Keats we knew we were in for an amazing time. We were greeted by the lovely Linda who couldn’t be more welcoming and then we met the ‘say it how it is’ Gary! (That is meant in a nice way). We were then shown to our tent which exceeded all expectations with the ‘just married’ touches that blew us away. Make sure you join Gary for the feeding of the animals and the amazing pizza evening. We cannot thank you both enough and like Arni said ‘we will be back!!’
Roe Family second stay at Lower Keats Farm with two other families. Great time, with the boys enjoying running around outside. Back to Lyme Regis and coastal walk to the Golden Cap. Also went to Beer (a lovely seaside town) and took the girls to Lyme Bay Winery and Dalwood Vineyard (much smaller and by appointment – but big [character! And great recommendation. This has been our second year at Lower Keats and we’ve had another fabulous stay – thank you! Lyme Regis and Charmouth are musts as places to visit when we are in this area. Lyme Regis is great for rock pools (at low tide), fossil hunting, and independent shops (with lots of eating options to suit the whole family!) We love the museum at Charmouth with free entry, the staff are wonderful with children in particular and share their knowledge freely. This year we also went to Beer which we loved. Beautifully clear sea, very family and dog friendly. We would recommend and return! Thank you again for your hospitality.

We lucked out with the weather, so the beaches and walks were superb! The fire was a lifesaver on a couple of very chilly mornings …. Make sure you manage the heat overnight! Great fish and chip shop: Whites in Chard! All in all, a wonderful stay, campfires, singing and lots of laughs. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful stay here in The Cobb – both the children & myself loved feeding the animals on Tuesday evening both myself & mum enjoyed the stunning view, & pizza night with Linda & Gary.
The tent is brilliant down to the smallest details & the shower – oh.my.god. – feels like you are in some sort of Swedish Spa x My eldest absolutely loved the cabin bed & it’s perfect for a little bit of space without feeling ignored or apart from everyone else – very important for a pre-teen.
We visited the town of Beer, Charmouth & Lyme Regis – all gorgeous little tourist hotspots with plenty to find on the beach – we even went for a walk along the Cobb in Lyme Regis to commemorate our tent.
The only slight downside is the noisy sheep neighbours. Otherwise a beautiful getaway & such lovely welcoming owners. We hope to visit again!

We’ had a fabulous few days, despite the windy weather. Enjoyed visiting the local coast, The Hive Café and beach are our favourites. Dear Gary, Linda & Team (inc Charlie). Thank you for a truly lovely stay. The glamping tents are fantastic, a home from home. We’ve had such a relaxing long weekend. Everything is so well thought out and all you need, and more is provided. You are great hosts. We enjoyed a day exploring the coastline, all within 15-20 minutes’ drive away, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe are lovely. We enjoyed a meal at The Sea Shanty in Branscombe, which also has a beautiful pub The Masons Arms. Today, we turned left out of here, and drove along the Jurassic coast road stopping off at West Bay, Abbotsbury beach and then a visit to the Subtropical Gardens at Abbotsbury which is a must-see place to visit. Also, Charmouth is lovely and excellent for fossil hunting. You can walk to Lyme on a circular route or climb the Gold Cap which is 191 metres and the highest point on the South Coast. We hope to come back with the family so they can also experience ‘glamping’ at its best, thank you for a wonderful stay.

The whole site is so lovely, clean and organised. For us 5 NHS keyworkers, we relaxed, laughed so much, lovely views and a peaceful environment. The cabin is outstanding, everything you need. What an outstanding experience we have had!! We wanted for nothing! We have glamped in ‘luxurious’ tents before but none of such high quality and standards. It was spotless when we arrived! Everything from the woodfired oven to the shower were right up our street. All the little extras like shower gel, body cream and hand wash were gratefully received. Our daughter loved the bed cabin, and it was clear that you have really thought about how to maximize space in a fun way. Having constant hot water and high pressure was also a plus for us, in a magnificent shower room. Our daughter loved feeding the animals, especially the calves. The view is to die for!! Joyful to wake up to every morning regardless of the weather. Finally, how many hosts would set up a large screen in the Hive to host the final of the European Cup? Gary and Linda did just that. Although we lost, it was wonderful to be able to watch with all the other guests. See you again.

We have had such a lovely time at Lower Keats – it has been so relaxing. The showers are wonderful, the log burner on an evening makes the tent cosy and warm. Loved the evenings sat on the deck. Lots to do in the surrounding area. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again.

Gary & Linda, we have had a fab stay here at Lower Keats, Golden Cap! The boys aged 20th months and 3 years loved the pizza night and animal feeding. The scones were also delicious. Although windy, we felt very snug and secure in our tent & we had everything here that we needed, and the hosts were always on hand if needed. Hi Linda & Gary, What an amazing place you have created here! The tents are fabulous (Stag & Pheasant), the equipment and honesty shop is so helpful. The view is glorious. The hot tub was a big tub! We had a wonderful family gathering here for our 40th wedding anniversary. The animal feeding and pizza nights (with the duck egg) were a highlight for all of us and especially for the toddlers. Cream teas for breakfast was such a treat too! Your warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcome, so thank you so much. We do hope we’ll come back next year, if we can organise the kids diaries!

Just Wow!! This was our first glamping experience, and it certainly will not be our last at Lower Keats. From the moment we arrived we have been made to feel completely at home. Both James and Amelie loved the animals and having the freedom to run around not worrying about cars like our city life. Pizza night and cream teas were also a massive hit. Our extended family – 26 of us – aged from 7 – 78 – thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not all fit into Beer so took 5 lodges in all. The weather was brilliant, although the evenings/nights colder. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay and Linda & Gary were excellent hosts. Feeding animals and hens, pizza evening & hot tub all went down very well once we learned the tricks of the trade. The lodge offer everything needed and we appreciated the eco friendly considerations. This part of South Devon & adjoining South Dorset are lovely places to explore. So thanks for a memorable experience.

Wow! What an amazing stay (again)! Our second time here and even more impressed with the new additions you’ve made to this wonderful place. The weather was fab. The hot tub – amazing for stargazing all night with kids in bed. Can’t fault anything. We will be back again soon.
We had a lovely stay at the Stag over a long weekend. A lovely place to cut off from all the stress of life and get back to basics. Really enjoy using the log burner to cook for a change. Farm shop was ideal and the steaks were amazing. Our dog Hunter thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone wanting to Glamp. Thank you.
First time glamping for us and we had a lovely time! The weather unfortunately was not very kind to us but it was cosy and safe in the lodge and we had plenty to do on the rainy/stormy days! Honesty shop was very well stocked and the lodges have been thoughtfully kitted out. So it made for a relaxing and easy stay! Dog and kids enjoyed the green spaces and we all slept very well in our comfy beds. We will be back again – I’m sure! Thanks for your hospitality

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at Lower Keats. What a memorable way to spend a 25th Birthday! From managing the fire to sitting in candlelight in the evening, it was fabulous! All the little touches made the stay so easy and the shower was amazing! Just what we needed to warm up. We had a lovely day trip to Lyme Regis and a brilliant meal at Lordleaze Hotel – would definitely! I think we’d love to return – hopefully sooner than later, maybe during the summer. Thank you again.

We’ve had a fantastic time here in Stag lodge, one of the few places we’ve been where the place is as good as the photos. Linda & Gary have been incredibly warm and welcoming and the whole stay has felt like a real treat. Forget holidays abroad – this was exactly what we needed! This was the first time we’ve tried glamping and we’re hooked. We’ll definitely be back. The pizza was delicious, as were the gelato and the scones (thank you again btw!) We spend several mornings sat on the balcony reading and enjoying the peace and quiet which was a lovely change from how mornings usually are for us at home. Basil has had the absolute time of his life this week – I’m not sure how he’ll adjust to being at home again. We’ll be telling everyone about you when we get home! Thank you.

A truly wonderful break was had by all (ages 14 – 74!) Lovely location, comfy beds, and an amazing shower, (Although the older generation did miss a mirror in the bedroom!)

We stayed in Deer for 3 nights and it was amazing. We loved sleeping in the cabin bed, getting ice cream from the shop at the end of the gate. This is our 3rd time staying here, we had lots of fun again.

Thanks for an amazing weekend. Too many great moments to write about so here are our family favourites, a wood burner, pizza night, feeding animals, the beautiful views & great outside space to play football. We have had such a lovely time. Weather has been amazing, but we enjoyed the one rainy day, spending time chilling in the tent and looking out at the misty view. You have thought of everything to ensure the most comfortable stay. It feels as if you have don’t everything to protect the environment, but without compromise to luxury. Douglas the dog was made as welcome as we were. Having the enclosed field made early morning walks so easy. Best burgers we have ever tested! Keep doing what you are doing.
Thank you so much for the most incredible stay. We knew it said to expect ‘luxury glamping’ but it’s not until you get here, that you realise how special you have made this place. You have thought of every last detail, and it has made our time here unforgettable – in the best way! It has been so great to actually sit back and be able to enjoy the view (complete with a glass of wine or G & T!) While the little ones run about, take in the fresh air, and experience this gorgeous place. The animal feeding was such a great hit (think you have a mini apprentice on your hands), the toiletries smell incredible (it really is like a spa!) and we will 100% be back! Fish and chips from Lemon Plaice were lovely (& open Mondays) and Axe Valley Wildlife Park was a great for a local day out. Thanks so much.

Lovely few days spent at Lower Keats accommodation, facilities and weather were excellent. Lyme Regis, Beer and Budleigh visited, a lovely part of the country. We have loved staying here, it is cosy and warm with a great view. Gary’s pizzas are the best ever! Lyme Regis was the best beach, but very busy and it was a lovely walk around.
It’s been a fabulous stay here, from the beautiful lodges and the cosy beds to the striking views of the Jurassic Coast accompanied by delectable fish and chips. The entire site is relaxing, and the lack of electricity brings a welcome break to what would have been a device filled holiday. The wood burner in particular was very much appreciated by my dad as it can get a little chilly overnight. Local food and games are supplied at the honesty shop. Wide open fields make for a good game of French cricket, and the animals always bring a smile to my face. A wonderful holiday, most likely not our last, and a great family trip. Thank you.

Definitely try the pizzas and our children loved the animal feeding. A week with friends, the children having freedom and no tv! Making new friends and loving the fresh air. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lower Keats. We’d also recommend Beer beach for a peaceful day -just take good shoes to walk on the pebbles! Plus, The Mill bakery in Lyme Regis. An amazing 4 days here in Beer lodge. It was absolutely perfect everything we needed for a busy family. Spent most days at the beach in Lyme Regis eating pasties and ice cream. RNLI were having a fun raising week so lots of activities, tombola, painting and to top off our stay, the Red Devils parachuting onto the beach. Rosie, Molly and Emilia loved it!! They also loved animal feeding and we thoroughly enjoyed the goods in the shop, quiche was amazing and at on the balcony with red wine whilst the girls played was heavenly. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.
We had a fantastic stay – hard to leave the site as it’s so relaxing but enjoyed fossiling at Charmouth, a lovely afternoon at Axe Valley Wildlife Park and a trip on the miniature steam railway at Beer. Also enjoyed very tasty sirloin steaks from the honesty shop, cooked on the bbq. The highlight has been seeing the kids running free, making friends, and generally having an absolute ball! Lovely comfortable accommodation and super powerful showers. (The icing on the cake). The kids loved the animal feeding too. Thank you.

We have had the most magical time. The tent is amazing, our 3-year-old twins have loved it, especially the cave beds and running around singing in all the beautiful land. Thank you for a fab holiday, a great place for a family reunion after over a year of difficult days for us all. The tent is fab, all you could ever need. Location the perfect antidote to troubled times. The girls (Reyn and Willow) had the time of their lives, running free and making friends. Not once did they miss TV. Pizza evenings are fab. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Tytherleigh, just up the road. Trips to Beer, Seaton, Charmouth and Lyme Regis were great fun. Please keep Lower Keats just as it is you have a gem here! We have had a great time. A totally new experience for us all, weather was kind to us and the Tytherleigh Arms was a good recommendation and the food was absolutely delicious.

Seeing our children smiling from ear to ear when feeding the animals was so wonderful. You often worry about sleeping when glamping, but not here.
