Doggy Heaven

Dogs are very welcome at Lower Keats.
Just like every member of the family we’ve got some treats in store for dogs here.
We charge a £25 supplement per dog and allow two dogs per lodge.  We supply their very own hard dog bed and two bowls, plus welcome treats, just bring their favourite blankets and you’re ready to have a fantastic holiday!   Let us know on the booking form – so we have everything ready for you.  We usually have a dedicated dog exercise field, where they are welcome to be off the lead but we do ask you please to pick up after your dog.  If you wish to visit somewhere not so dog friendly; we have an onsite kennel which you are welcome to use, please contact us for further details. If you are staying for a 4 night midweek term time stay, don’t forget to take advantage of our ‘dogs stay free offer’.  Up to two dogs can stay for free in each lodge, just let us know on the booking form that they are coming to stay with you.  Assistance and Guidedogs may stay for free, just let us know on your booking form so we know to leave the doggie welcome pack ready for you.

We’re lucky to be surrounded by acres of lush countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with Jurassic Coast, ancient forts, National Trust gardens all offering fantastic walks. You and your dog will love it. We have plenty of dog friendly pubs nearby and one within a stone’s throw of our Glamping field.

Discover Doggy Beaches

Dogs are welcome on many of the beaches in Devon and Dorset, especially outside the summer months where you’ll get access to stretches of sand and perfect pebbles.  Devon is well known for being dog-friendly. Doggy Rules

All our lodges have a gated decked area that should keep all but the smallest or most enthusiastic jumping champions contained. We ask that dogs are kept on leads when on the site, except when in the dedicated exercise field, and that they are not left alone in the lodges at any time. As we have livestock on site, please don’t let your dog chase anything. Our animals are all fenced with stock proof fencing but are not dog proof.
